The weeks are already staring to whizz by and everyone has been kept really busy with lots of fantastic learning going on.

The highlight of the week for Year One  and Two was getting the chance to make the sandwiches they had designed. They got really creative with the fillings  and there were some weird and wonderful combinations.

Most agreed that theirs was delicious!!!

but one or two might not be making an appearance in a packed lunch any time soon!

Lets hope things warm up a little and  everyone has a great May Day.

Welcome back everyone
We hope you had a great holiday.
Summer term is a long one but it is well and truly packed with things to look forward to.
Last week everyone walked to the chapel pit to look for the spring changes
We dodged the showers and found lots of trees starting to sprout new leaves , lovely daffodils and a nest of blackbird chicks. There were no ducklings but there was a moorhen, identified by Beth!

This week we had a visit from Ollie Day who gave us a great lesson on road safety and keeping safe in the dark.

Our topic for this term is Food and Farming and The Farm shop in Red Room is open for business. Reception are making a new frieze for the classroom wall and  got out in the sunshine to paint on a big scale!

Today was St Georges Day and we all dressed up in red and white to celebrate .We enjoyed a special lunch and well done to Ben who won the colouring competition.

Well done too to Emily, Beth, Max and Bertie who have gained their 10 mile certificate for the Golden Mile.
